My mother is a super hero!

My mom spend 11.5 hours cleaning my house today mostly while I was at work and at dinner (Yeah, yeah, I know but she told me to go!). She vacuumed the ceilings, took everything out of the cupboards, washed every dish, wiped off every shelf, scrubbed every nook and cranny, and helped me organize. My kitchen sparkles! The rest of the house looks much better but most of the effort had to focus on the kitchen. We have taken down all but one set of curtains to wash. I did discover the bedroom curtains are shorter than the living room ones but they provide adequate coverage while the others are being washed. We've removed several arachnid friends and many of their webs. It looks white instead of gray in here!

I need to figure out how to keep it clean because this type of cleaning...sucks! Of course we were cleaning up after the fire but it wasn't clean to begin with.
