Lukas looks really happy to have a little brother.


Patrick James Eagle was born at 12:33 today. He is 8 lbs 2 oz and was 20.5 inches long. Candy is recovering from her C-section but I think she made a good choice given his size.

House hunting saga....

Well so far the total number of house I've seen is: a big fat ZERO!

The real estate agent I contacted apparently had better things to do that to work with someone in my price range and after, failing to call when she said she would, she sent an email suggesting I work with someone else. *sigh* And she pretty much said there wasn't anything available in my price range in Junction City. (because apparently short sales are a pain in the rear and she won't work with them).

At that point I was ready to cry and just forget the whole thing. A good night's sleep did not actually help but I agreed to try to find someone else.

So I called the realtor that my friends in JC used to buy their house. He was very pleasant and I was up front with him about my price range. He failed to call me today when he said he would but he did say he might not because of his schedule.

So...Is it me? It seems no one is interested in my business. I realize that $115K, which is my target goal, does not generate a very large commission. But you'd think that money was money regardless.

I'm hoping this improves a bit. Everyone is excited for me but I'm not at all excited by my experiences so far.
