Step one, Mission accomplished....

I left work early today to meet with a mortgage lender. I came out with a pre-approval in hand. It's for more than I want to spend but I went with what I viewed as my max. The good news is that my credit score is in the high 700's; it is, in fact higher than my parents'. Now to find the right house.

I'm very nervous about this whole process because there is a lot I don't understand. I'm meeting with a real estate agent tomorrow though. She should help me through this.
