Jan. 31st, 2007 08:32 amI spent all day yesterday working on a website. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal. However, this site is totally different from the College's sites and yet I need to use the University's CSS. Have you ever tried to manipulate code that someone else has written? It's an exercise in extreme frustration. That being said, today I get to start over. In 8 hours yesterday, I managed to accomplish nothing workable. I hope I built some knowledge about the CSS but I made no progress on the page.
When I left yesterday I was near tears from frustration and I've been thinking about it off and on all night and morning. To say that I am reluctant to open it and start again today would be a serious understatement.
Oh, and did I mention, I was given this task on Monday and asked to have a site by Friday? It's so not happening. Considering that no one asked me if I had the necessary skills or time to do this task, I'm quite a bit miffed.

I thank BE that the last person to do the Adiantum site was Digr, not someone else. But even being Digr? Sometimes they make decisions you simply can't "see".. and wonder why something is the way it is.. its hellish.
I'm sorry, sweetheart. Beleive me when I tell you I completely understand.
If you need ANYTHING.. give me a call. ok?

I'm sorry, Where do you want dinner?
