Being Positive
Aug. 8th, 2017 12:32 pmPositives this morning: Pretty summer dress from Hawaii. All of my friends on facebook that are encouraging me in so many ways. Lunch plans with a coworker. A little covert glee that it's taking four people to figure out how to do the HR hiring that I was doing before my time switched over to the database management (they don't want to ask me because they're convinced I didn't know what I was doing.) Lemonade and tonic water (yes again) for early morning hydration.
Positives at noon: It's very quiet at work. I am not having to deal with people who disquiet me. And I've still managed to do some productive work. Talking with a coworker at lunch and she agrees with my assessment of a particular situation so I'm feeling less like I'm being paranoid. Hansen's soda for afternoon thirst quenching.
Positives this evening: After comparing aches and pains with my girlfriends, I feel positively healthy. Probiotics that seem to be helping with some GI issues. Friends who know what you need before you do. Friends who help encourage each other to do the healthy things (and occasionally not so healthy but tasty or fun things). Talented friends who are willing to take on something extra just because it's me that asked.
