Issues with LJ

So I tried to login to LJ yesterday and saw the announcement about the company now being owned by a Russian company.  I shrugged but what caught my attention is that the login is no longer secure.  So, I have not been able to login comfortably since that time.  This is cross posting from DreamWidth which will hopefully be more secure.  However, that means, I can't read anything that's being posted.  I hoped it was a glitch but I'm not sure at this point.
