Some select people- mostly family (no one here)- have informed me that it will never pass inspection, there will be costly repairs, etc, etc, etc. They seem to feel the need to tell me every horror story and potentially disastrous scenario that could possibly happen.

So, it's doomed to failure and I should just resign myself to that fact.

Thanks, I was already worried, now I get to feel hopeless.

If my house could pass inspection, yours can too. I had an improperly built room, substandard wiring and dry rot/insect damge throughout.

If they are trying to prepare you for disappointment, then they are going about it the wrong way.

Keep positive - drive them crazy!

Take a deep breath and wait for actual results. ~hugs~ If it passes inspection, then you're halfway there.

Sounds like my family. Some people just have to be super negative with the excuse that they are "just being realistic." Don't listen to them for too long.

That anonymous comment was from me, btw. Not sure what happened.
