Being Positive

Whoo Hoo! It's Friday! I have lunch plans with a coworker. I'm wearing a new silk wrap skirt that floats around me like a cloud. I plan to spend the weekend sewing with occasional breaks to go to Scandi fest. Today is my Cousin Andrea's birthday. Yesterday was Lilly's birthday. All good days! Today should be quiet since it's Friday and most of the administration is out.

I got to have lunch with not one but two coworkers and it was great fun. My boss came up this morning to see how I was doing in the new space and when I said I really hated people coming to sit behind me, she made some suggestions about how we could change the configuration to prevent that from happening. Very supportive (she's confusing). Everyone I've shown my new skirt to has been excited either by the skirt or the humanitarian story behind it (See Darn Good Yarn https://www.darngoodyarn.com for that story) and it's been a joy to wear today. The day is half over and the weekend is just around the corner!

I'm going to bed early tonight and it feels good. I got my menu planned for Saginaw. I have a game plan for sewing tomorrow. I have some extra time on Sunday to see or make cards- whichever needs doing. Positive things!
