Crappy day...

I have a headache. I'd call it a migraine but my mother objects to that because she says I don't have migraines but I'm light and sound sensitive along with the pain. Nothing is making it better even laying down with a cold rice pack on my forehead.

However, I also have a very sick kitty.
He is mouth breathing, sneezing, and has a fever of 106 (102 is normal).
His trip to the emergency room cost me $508 and I went with the conservative approach. We did blood work, subq fluids, and a shot of long acting antibiotic. I am a little more comfortable after the visit because I know he doesn't have something stuck in his throat. However, he did eat onions yesterday which can cause hemolysis of the red blood cells- Hence the blood work. I also do still have my plague cat who spreads respiratory infection once in a while, so that could be what's going on too.
I finally got him to eat some wet food this afternoon- food and water! That's good.
