A weekend...

I decided to skip coronet this weekend and instead spent about three hours doing some weeding. My body is complaining vociferously and demand sleep now and all through the day. The demands seem a little overzealous for the amount of work that got done but such is the state of my body.

After my body told me it was time to stop weeding, I came in and crocheted on a baby blanket.

Today when I got home I tackled making creamy potato leek soup without the cream, of course. It has a good texture and flavor after blending but I think it should have sausage or ham with it. I don't have any on hand so it will be fine without it. I had a couple of other recipes I wanted to try but prepping that one dish was all I could handle tonight.

Tomorrow, I'll put this Asian pork recipe into the crock pot. The roast is still frozen tonight and I'm too wiped out to deal with it.

I think I'll crochet a bit tonight and go to bed early.
