This week in my Garden: 7/27/13
Jul. 30th, 2013 03:32 pmAfter being gone for two weeks to Yellowstone so that the garden got no attention but water, it looked a little wild!

The beets were starting to bolt so I pulled them all and I'll plant another crop in late August

I also harvested the potatoes which had died down and the roots were starting to sunburn. Then I had massive cucumbers, large squash, peppers, large onions, and a large quantity of slightly aged beans.

The tomatoes are over growing and turning over their cages so I finally tied the cages to the garden box. The carrots, and beans have a little more room with the beets harvested.

The sweet peas are still quite pretty. It looks empty without the beets and potatoes.
