Shoot, oh dear.....
Oct. 18th, 2012 01:03 pmI have a serious case of the shakes right now.
I just got off the phone with my real estate agent. The bid on the roof came in much lower than expected, the home owner has been making as many repairs as he can, including under the house, and we are on track to close NEXT FRIDAY! Eep! It wasn't at all real yet and it still seems a little unreal but more real than it was an hour ago.
Now I'm thinking about wall colors and cat doors. The cats have never used a cat door but I'd like to put the litter boxes in the garage so there is less litter tracked through the house. That means they have to learn where it is and how to get to it. Any suggestions?
For interior colors I'm thinking a robin's egg blue/sky blue for the kitchen and dining area (it means removing the wallpaper border of peppers). I'd like to paint one wall in the living room a deep burgundy (if I can find a burgundy I like) and one wall in my bedroom a dark sage to compliment my bedding. The other walls may be a tinted cream or just plain cream or maybe white or tinted white. After living in apartments for so long, I'm really sick of white. I haven't thought about the other bedrooms and bathrooms yet.
Oh so much to think about and plan for...I'm a little scared (hence the shakes, I think)
