JUNCTION CITY — A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Junction City High School for Barbara R. Rowland of Junction City, who died Oct. 11 of complications from cancer. She was 64. A burial will follow at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Junction City. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
She was born March 6, 1945, in Plentywood, Mont., to Robert and Klareen Thompson. She married Steve Rowland on Aug. 29, 1969, in Honolulu.
She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper and was a co-owner of Bentwood Northwest.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Heidi Estrem of Boise and Darci Carr of Stockton, Calif.; a son, Dustin of Seattle; a sister, Bev Thompson of Forsyth, Mont.; two brothers, Larry Thompson of Parker, Colo., and Les Thompson of Broadus, Mont.; and five grandchildren.
