How many times do I have to say it....
Sep. 21st, 2009 01:57 pmIf you are sick, STAY HOME!
The student courier decided to come to work today, with a fever, after being with her sister, who has been diagnosed with H1N1. Just what everyone on her route wanted to do today...Let's all get exposed to H1N1! She didn't bother to tell anyone she'd been exposed until after she finished her rounds. *sigh* At least if we'd known at the time we could have used the sanitizer on our hands.
CDC says it isn't any worse than any other flu but it annoys the dickens out of me to be deliberately exposed. There is a 1-4 day incubation time with the infectious period starting about 24 hours before symptoms. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it passes me by.
