Aaaaaaaand.... DONE!
Apr. 8th, 2009 01:40 pmThe hotel and work room are cleaned out. The team left this morning after a 10:30 meeting with the dean and SueAnn. I don't think it was good news. But I haven't heard.
In the last five days I worked 12.25 hours of OT. I figure I was on call about 37 hours total (5-12pm and 7-8 am each day when I wasn't actually working) so I'll get 6 hours of regular pay. All total $279.50 before taxes, plus the per diem for meals. None of which will help me buy groceries for the rest of the month. I spent all my grocery money on food during my stay and there is nothing at home. It sucks! But I don't think I will starve...Might be eating ramen but I'll live. I might get the per diem in two weeks, maybe, but I won't get the overtime pay for two months yet. Was it worth it? Not really, but it was necessary so I will try not to complain and hope that my tax return comes in really, really soon.
