The Sock Summit website is up with a complete list of classes and costs. *drool* So far I want to spend $960 and 41 hours at Sock Summit classes. Since I know there are not 7 days of classes and I don't have even a fraction of $960 I am doomed to disappointment. Each 3 hour class is $70 and each 6 hour class is $140. There are a few 1-hour classes and lectures that vary between $15 and $35. I really would like to hit the EZ's wearable art socks ($70), Paint your toes, Stranded colorwork for socks ($70), Traditional Estonian Socks ($140), and Vintage Socks($140). But I'm seriously not going to have $420 by May when registration opens and I will not likely have two days to take off work either. *chuckle* Besides, just watch, those four classes will all be offered at the same time. Ah well, life is what happens while we make plans.

Ugh Taxes

My taxes are done and filed. I've been putting it off because I didn't buy the software this year and I was worried about doing them. But this is getting a bit close to the wire so...I used TurboTax online and just kicked them out. It was expensive, yes it was. It cost me $70 to e-file (I don't have a printer right now so print and mail wasn't an option). I love the fact that we get to PAY to pay our taxes. *shakes head* But it's done and I'm getting a refund. I think I'll put it towards the purchase of a new laptop. It's barely half of the expected cost but better than paying for a computer entirely on credit. I'm sure there are other things I should do with it. If I were smart, I would save it because of the uncertainty of our contract in the next year. I'm not smart...But I am stimulating the economy. ;>D
