Well and thoroughly wigged out!
Jan. 19th, 2007 01:09 pmI finally got to talk to my Major prof about the expectations of my Oral exams.
First point of panic- I have to fill up and hour and 40 minutes with my presentation and answering questions. I think the longest I have spoken in front of a group was the presentation I did in my grants class that was 15-20 minutes long.
Second point of panic- I have to present to the committee how I used concepts in each of my classes as part of my final project.
I do not, however, have to have my entire project completed. I can finish it by the end of the term and use examples from the work I've already done for my presentation.
So my priority now becomes writing my presentation. My plan of attack is as follows:
Look at my transcript and course work and determine the major points of each course.
Determine in what manner I have applied these points to my project.
Flesh out and truly commit to my philosophy of education.
Write out what it was I hoped to accomplish with my Masters degree program.
Integrate the above articles into one cohesive presentation.
THat's all. *rolling eyes* and I have so much time to do it. *sigh*
