Beautiful morning

I got out of the house early this morning. The sun was just starting to peak over the hills. The sky was lit with the fading pink which seems to arrive in the fall, retiring the brilliant fiery colors of summer. I love the early morning feeling. It's fresh and new- totally unspoilt. Unfortunately, to see it requires pulling myself out of my nice warm bed. *sigh* But it's a new day and so far a good day.

I was appreciating the Baroness's email on Friday the 13th today. ( Read email )

I mentioned yesterday that I was going to go look for slacks after work. I did but when I got to the counter the sales clerk asked me if I realized there was a 40% off sale starting Friday. I didn't. She offered to hold my stuff until Saturday so I'm going to go pick it up today. I'm glad she told me-She didn't have to. It will decrease my bill considerably.

I'm contemplating going ballroom dancing with S. tonight. I've not been for over ten years and it makes me very nervous about making a fool of myself. I didn't come prepared so I'd have to pick up appropriate clothing while I'm doing my shopping. *gasp* How horrible. *chuckle* Shoes would be the hard part though. I was thinking last night and this morning that I need to do some things in my leisure time that don't involve sitting on my butt. Dancing seemed like a good form of exercise today.
