Running away

So I'm going to run away for a while- Curl up in a corner and lick the various wounds that life has seen fit to inflict lately. I'll concentrate on school and staying out of everyone's way for a while.

Bizarre Mystery

Yesterday at work I was complaining vociferously that I wanted chocolate. When I returned from lunch there was a snickers bar on my desk with a typed note that read: "Friends are like chocolate chips. It is good to keep them close by."
To date, no one has fessed up to leaving it there for me. I'm very grateful but extremely perplexed.

My morning...

I stopped at the post office to pick up my mail- contained lots of bills I can't pay right now.

I nearly didn't stop when the car in front of me did. I missed her by about 2 inches when I locked my brakes. My own fault, I'd looked away. Not the best type of adrenaline rush.

Traffic is a bitch while the bridge is out. No matter when I get to Corvallis, I'm always late for work.

Thinking all night and most of the morning about my lack of success with men. Makes me very sad- to the point of tears.

Well... Then I got to work and all the joy that always awaits me here. It hasn't been too bad it's just never fun.

On the other hand...I did not hit the lady in front of me- my car and I are all still in one piece. And I haven't killed anyone at work yet either.
