Another day at work. I don't want to be here but it's money. I have my annual exam today. Since it's here in town I might as well be at work. Oh joy! *rolling eyes*

I was lazy all day yesterday. I read a book, watched tv, did a little crocheting and generally relaxed. I really needed that but I also need to work on my paper. Hopefully I'll do that this week and have a good rough draft by Thursday.

With Mom and Dad gone this week, I need to go by the house and water the plants. It hasn't been particularly hot but I should see if the lawns or garden need watered too.

Only two days until my birthday. I'm trying to ignore it since I won't be doing anything special. Any more it's just another day. It's terribly disappointing though because I still have the 6 year old mentality which says I should be the center of attention on my birthday. *sigh* I wonder if I'll ever grow out of that disappointment? It seems so childish but I can't seem to overcome it.

Well back to work. I've actually got some things to get done.

It's amazing how being able to take a day off makes so much difference in my perception of the entire week. In order to not lose my 16 hours of personal time, I have to take it before the first of July so I will be taking the next two fridays off. YEAY!!!

Today hasn't been bad. Somehow it is noon and the whole morning is gone already. I really have no idea what I did this morning. I know I've been answering lots of emails and dealing with grading issues. Additionally I've been scouting out storage places, or rather the lack of them, which resulted in moving a bookshelf out of an office to provide storage for work samples and capstone projects. Well such is a day in my life. I have such a variety of responsibilities that I sometimes end up doing some very interesting combinations of things.

For now all I have left to say is Hooray for 94% fat free, no sugar added, microwave kettle corn!

Yuck

Those exams should really be outlawed- Or a non-invasive method developed. The doctor said it would have to be a woman who invented such a method because men wouldn't even think of it. *rolling eyes* Why can't the Star Trek scanners be real? (Actually I think I heard something about a similar machine being developed which speeds up the healing of bone matter)

They also made me wait for an hour and fifteen minutes before I even got in to see them; And they made ME come in 15 minutes early. How annoying!
