I was thinking, this morning on my way to work, the problem with keeping a LJ updated is that everyone may know what is happening in your life but no one talks to you. ;>)

I was very disapointed this morning. I requested time off to be in Everrett when J's ship comes in after 6 months at sea and it was denied. Apparently everyone else had asked for the day off before I did. Fortunately, S. volunteered to come in to work that day so I could go. I owe her lots of chocolate! That's a relief. Now I have to find a place to stay (Who wants to stay with a husband and wife who have been seperated for 6 months? *chuckle*).

My paper is not done but I took the evening off to clean house since I am expecting company over for a while this weekend. I'd been putting off the housecleaning in order to stay focused on school but it was getting pretty icky. I was very glad to have it clean. I still need to do my dishes- dishwasher was full last night, and vaccuum again. Hopefully tonight the vaccumm won't try to take off my foot like it did last night. (It fell over and landed on my foot. Ouch!) As for the paper, my professor and major prof are gone until Thursday so I'll just keep plugging away on it a little at a time. My professor likes the idea I am working on now but my major professor is confused by it. Hopefully, when I've fleshed it out a bit more, she will understand it better.

I'd like to get it done because I'd like to spend some time working on some of my sewing projects- probably tent first if I can get the materials for the next couple of weeks.

Time will tell, I suppose.
