Not too bad....

Today was a decent day. I got a card from my coworkers, my boss, an aunt and uncle, a cousin, a friend (who is also my scrapbooking consultant) and from my parents. A former coworker took me to lunch. I had dinner with my parents at Olive Garden and my brother and my sister in law called seperately to wish me a happy birthday. Candy and Jay sent me an amazon gift certificate and Candy called too. Several lj friends wished me a good day as did several facebook friends. Other than the amazon card there weren't any presents although my parents and my brother and SIL both tell me there are presents in the mail (both being mailed to mom and dad's house just in time for them to be held at the post office until next Wednesday while my parents are out of town. *laughs*).

I had just one disappointment...two people who are conspicuously absent from the list of well wishers. *sigh* Regardless of how low key I spend my birthday, I do like to know that people remembered.

I'm headed off to bed and trying not to let that disappointment ruin an otherwise decent 37th birthday.

Sorry I missed it too! Today is the first day I've been in the office. Sounds like you had a good day. It was great to see you last weekend, wish as always that we had had more time to hang out.
