Being Positive
Aug. 2nd, 2017 12:20 pmPositives this morning: There is plenty of water this year to water the plants. The cats, who decided to investigate the outdoors this morning, were easily rounded up and in fact, Simon skittered right back in when I told him to. In spite of the heat, everything is growing and blooming. I got to spend a few minutes in the garden and picked my first ripe tomato.
Positives a little afternoon: Friends who recommend lunch at an air conditioned restaurant and then offer to pay. Ice water! Neck coolers. Pictures from Hawaii to remember the beauty. Beautiful blue hydrangeas.

Positives this evening: I'm sooooooo thankful for AC at home. After working in an 86 degree office all day my house felt heavenly. We had two visiting workers in meeting tonight and two additional visitors who helped to make the singing so beautiful. All had wisdom to share. Some of it was just what I needed. All of my plants are still alive in the back yard even though I haven't run the sprinklers back there for a while. I guess the hose waterings have been just frequent enough. I was able to pick up the sun dried basil tonight and it smells lovely. Also the elephant garlic that has been curing on the patio table is very fragrant when manipulated.
