Being Positive

I've been sick and away from digital services but even so there have been positive things. My totally reliable car got me to the event and even though I was tired and a bit grumpy there was a smiling face to greet me. Good friends (Durin and Ceridwen) let me set up my cot in their tent so I didn't have to set up in the dark and they let me stay all weekend. They helped me unpack my car and repacked and moved it when it was apparent I was down for the count. The land owners (David and Janet) brought me meds and checked on me daily. Other people I barely knew came by to check on me. It was amazing! People picked up the duties I was unable to attend to quite cheerfully and willingly. Ceridwen brought me home. Durin drove by himself so she could. My bed and a/c felt wonderful. I have vacation time I took for today and I think the fever broke overnight so I'll probably be able to go to work tomorrow. Washing machine and drier made loads of laundry and all the sweat soaked laundry easy to deal with. Mom brought me bananas, Gatorade, and smoothie makings. My Ninja blender is awesome. It almost makes soft serve ice cream. Strawberry, mango, and coconut smoothies are quite the thing. I think I discovered my hot weather food for next week. Oh, food is tasting better and I've actually had some- toast, banana, cheese, and a smoothie. Getting better day by day, I think.
