Disappointed

My choir concert was tonight and it went really well. It wasn't perfect but it was by far the best we've done on this music and I think it sounded pretty good. We did bring in some ringers-soloists from other choirs mostly to fill out the numbers and to add the depth we needed in the solos.
Unfortunately, my parents got busy and totally forgot about it. I'm hurt and disappointed that, apparently, it wasn't important enough to write down or remember. I even sent an email to remind them this morning.
There is nothing to be done now but they missed a great performance and I'm ambivalent about extending the invitation next time.
