hlmauera: (Panther)
Well I think I've hit the crash and burn point. On Saturday, the socks I was knitting for my SIL were determined to be way too large and beyond redemption. They went into the frog pond and I was left without a project for her Christmas present. So, after a bit of a cry, I called Mom and arranged to take Dad (and her shopping).
Updating the Christmas/12th night list:

Kaylynn- The Rivendell hat
Ada- Caesuis but it was a little big
Abbey- Star-crossed slouchy hat

Family:
Mom (birthday)- Decorative items for the new bathroom
Mom (christmas)- Bought a cardigan and a knit skirt. Marian is making a basket

Dad, Therin, BIL, Jordan- Tie tacks (Marian's work) Options below.  I think I'll go with the clock one for Jordan  and maybe the black with copper one for my BIL.  I don't know for sure yet about my brother and Dad.

Dad- Zipper ties
Brother (birthday)- He asked for exotic woods to make boxes. I bought some Ipe and some Cumuru
Brother (christmas)- Jeans
Lillyana- clothes, Sofia dress & Christmas stocking, There were also some little booties knit
SIL- Cricket Cartridges (x2 because they were huge deal~60% off) ribbon cowl, Hair stick (Marian's Work)
Sister- Barrette (Marian's work)
Adriel- Barrette (Marian's work)

Marian presented me with options. I think my SIL will get the orange hairstick. Adriel will get the green cameo barrette. My sister will get the pink flower barrette...maybe,  I need to look at them in person. I may go with the tear shaped one instead.

Friends (who are family and with whom I exchange gifts) These usually end up being 12th night gifts:
Trudi- I have an idea but I can't say, 'cause she reads this. (started)
Marian- Ditto above (got materials and a plan)
Jay- I have NO idea!
Candy- I have materials and a plan but she also reads this.
Lukas- Shark blanket
PJ- Dragon blanket
