Gotta keep going anyway...
Apr. 25th, 2015 07:12 pmMy pain levels for the last three days, since PT, have been about the 5-6 level. I don't know if it's muscles engaging correctly for the first time in a long while, the effects of PT, or just random spasms. However, I still have to keep going. I did leave work about 1:30 on Friday and had a nice nap before heading to the Egils meeting.
Today was the only weekend for a while that my parents were free so we picked up a cubic yard of mint compost for my raised beds and mom and dad shoveled it in for me. I pulled weeds and dumped cartloads.

Then we went and picked up 100 of the 132 stones I needed for the dahlia bed. It will be 8' x 14' and about 12" high. Mom and I unloaded them into the space for the bed but no actual construction was attempted. I'm relying on people to not steal them since there is nothing I can do to make them secure. I need more cardboard, 32 more blocks, about 1.5 cubic yards of soil, and a whole lot of manual labor to finish the project. But it's a start. I should note that my back is NOT pleased!

It looks like I didn't post anything about finishing the strawberry bed last weekend but here is a picture of the completed project.
