Dairy-free frustrations...

We had lunch at Red Robin today. Like most restaurants, they have a limited DF menu. Unlike most restaurants, their fries are not DF and you have to go online to get the allergen menu; they don't have one available in the restaurant.

We had a lengthy conversation with our waitress and the manager about the DF options. Then when my burger came out, I took one bite and realized that they'd toasted the bun in butter. We double checked with the manager and he immediately recognized the problem. After he checked that I was ok he got a new burger for me pdq. I think he then worked with the waitress to teach her how to enter DF into the computer. He was very conscientious but it's not a very DF friendly restaurant.
