Oops....

I went to Joann Fabric yesterday...they might have had the exotic brocades on sale.  I might have picked up a couple.  I know, they are plastic but I can't afford silk brocades and I think they will work. Since they don't breathe, I also picked up a printed cotton.  I don't know what works for Persian/Turkish/Ottoman.  I know they had cottons but I don't know if printed cotton is appropriate or if they were woven.  I don't know what patterns work either... The middle one is the cotton and it looks a little like Elizabethan embroidery.  I don't know.  I figure I need something for warmer weather and I don't have the knowledge to make too much of an informed purchase.  There are no paisleys at any rate.
