Blessings and challenges

Blessings:
A shared laugh with the dean over the ridiculous tasks we have to do in spite of advanced degrees- today it was stickers and tape for me.
Finished drafts of essays for professional development application.
Easy drier repairs
No one dependent upon me to make meals, other than me- it really can wait.
Comfortable bed and early nights
Filing grant paper work completed after 15 months in boxes

Challenges
Struggled with essays but it resulted in a clearer focus on what I need.
Not enough energy left at the end of the day to cook and clean- it's ok to relax instead.
