This is what my day looks like...

After four back to back meetings today, I'm finally working on something substantive.  Although it's not at all fun.  This is what my day looks like:

I'm trying to boil this down to something a little more succinct. Ergh!

I needed something more right?...

The faculty will be back on Monday. The construction on the second and third floors will be completed on Tuesday. Furniture will start being installed on Wednesday. Also on Wednesday we have our fall kick-off meeting and a meeting about the new assessment requirements for the Graduate school. Those two meeting should fill the entire afternoon. They will finish installing the furniture on the 24th and we begin the process of moving 23 people around on the 25th, including phones and computers. On top of all this, I'm still trying to get this new assessment system ready to pilot by the 30th.

And now... The union has declared an intent to strike on the 23rd; so I must add in strike coordinator and strike building manager, including a meeting scheduled for the middle of the afternoon on Wednesday, when I was already scheduled for the fall kick-off meeting. I hope for everyone's sake it doesn't come down to a strike but if it does, I will be responsible for maintaining essential services and building security until the staff return.

I... Might be stretched a bit thin!
