Another week

This last week was spring break which is a very quiet time on campus. I finished the large report and went over it with some one but will need to share it with the Dean before submitting it. I have one question I need answered yet but the person to answer it was not available last week. I'm having nightmares about one piece of data being wrong so I'll double check that tomorrow.

I have started the process of reassigning parts of my work load. So far so good but we haven't hit crunch time yet. I'm most worried about the hiring part. I had Karla send out the request for GTA renewals with a form that the faculty need to fill out. Over the weekend I received a forward of it from one of our "special snowflakes" instructing me to fill it out for her. I politely declined. If she blusters about it, I'm pretty sure the dean will back me up on it because she always tries to pull this nonsense.

I finished my Tsidfy Shawlette and it is currently blocking. I'm feeling a bit at loose ends on my knitting but I started a Turkish sock. The research says women didn't wear them but I'll not buying that- it just doesn't make sense. Even if I'm wrong, I'll still have warm feet!

This weekend was so pretty, I just couldn't bear to be shut up in the sewing room, so I got out side and sowed a few seeds instead. They are mostly in pots but I put a few sweet pea seeds along the fence too. I didn't do too much, being conscious that my back is not as healthy as I'd like it to be.

I tested out my new camera on Mom's flower beds today. I'm anxious to see how they turn out but not anxious enough to download them tonight.

Tonight I have run my laundry and have cheesy shells cooking in the oven. I love the end result of the shells but being on my feet in the kitchen for two hours is really more than my back can take. It's not very happy with me right now. The laundry is an interesting indicator of my mood. It is very clear that I think it should be spring!

I'm feeling a bit worried about tomorrow at work but I need to not borrow trouble tonight so I'm going to play with my knitting and listen to Sense and Sensibility.
