I woke up at 6:30 and was wide awake so I decided to get up. Usually I sleep in on Saturday but my body decided it wanted to get up, so I listened. I was planning to sew a dress, that I cut out a couple of weeks ago, today so I went ahead and got started on it. I have a love hate relationship with knits. They are a bugger to sew but they are pretty forgiving on the body, as long as you don't fit them to tightly. By 10:00 I'd finished the dress except for the hemming. I used the surger- it's easier on knits. I didn't have the right color of blue thread for the hemming so I need to pick that up and finish this up tonight. It's going to count as my skirt of the month this month. Although not technically a skirt it has one and that's good enough for me.

I just finished 44 minutes of Zumba. I have to cool off a bit before I get into the shower. Once I've gotten my shower I'm going to meet Robert for lunch and do a little bit of running around. Mostly I'm looking for specific scrapbook embellishments and yarn for a specific pattern. I also need to run see my CM scrapbook consultant and pick up my order from last Saturday.

I've managed to get my kitchen table cleaned off enough to set out my scrapbooking supplies so I can sit down and do a couple of pages here and there and not have to set up everything. I got about 8 pages done yesterday after my doctor's visit.

I'm feeling a little torn because there are so many things I want to get done. I'm tired of knitting for everyone else. In spite of my goal to be a selfish knitter this year, I'm almost 5 months in without knitting anything for myself. However, I've knit four, almost five, pairs of fingerless mitts, two baby items, and two scarfs. I need to finish the fifth pair of mitts because they are the ones for my cousin and my aunt bought the yarn. However, it's a grind right now.

I'm working on a general purge of my house, getting rid of things I just don't use and trying to get my clutter to a managable level. Eventually there will be organization too but until I get rid of stuff that's just to hard.

There is also sewing to do both modern and Egils sewing. Marian, Trudi, and I are sewing on Tuesdays. Marian and I are working on Egils stuff, Trudi is working on modern stuff. The sewing is really for Marian and my sake but Trudi's being a good sport about it. She doesn't sew, you know. *wink, wink* I'm not sure I'll get to my SKOTM in May because between, vacation, Egils, and Egils sewing, I may just not have time. Maybe I'll be able to grab some time to retrofit some current skirts that are falling off of me.

Anyway, I think I'm now sufficiently cool enough to take a shower without sweating again afterwords so I'd better hop to it. I hope ya'll are having a great day, whatever you've chosen to do.
