I keep wondering...
Mar. 15th, 2012 11:51 pmI keep wondering why I'm not making much progress on my knitted scarf...and then I look at the clock and realise that it's 11:00 pm and I just walked in the door to my house for the first time since I left at 7:00 this morning.
Hmmmm...
I leave at 7:00 every morning and the evenings get sucked up.
Monday: I get home around 6:00 and then go to dinner with Robert and Carrie. Perhaps home by 7:30 but more often 8:30 or 9:00.
Tuesday: I go straight from work to Marian's and get home between 9:30 and 10:30.
Wednesday: I work late usually and go directly to pick up Ruthie and go to church. Home around 9 or 9:30.
Thursday: I usually have a night at home but the third Thursday of every month is knit night for the church ladies and I go directly to my parents' house to help set up. I just got home at 11:00. Other Thursdays I try to get a Wii work out in and do a little house work.
Friday: depends upon several variables. Sometimes I'm home and sometimes I go somewhere with Robert and Carrie.
Saturday: Wii work out first thing in the morning. Then shopping and cleaning have to be done at some point. There is also often sewing done.
Sunday: I have church meetings at 10 and 4 with lunch with my folks and doing laundry between.
I wouldn't change any of it but it does limit my knitting time.(well it would be nice not to spend 11 hours either at work or enroute but I prefer having a paycheck to not)
I'm looking forward to a week off next week but it will be almost busier than a work week.
Sunday I'm going to my aunt and uncle's house after church and Andrea and I are going shopping on Monday
Tuesday I'm spending the day with Carrie until it's time for my craft night with Trudi and Marian
Wednesday I'm spending the day with Ceridwen and we will knit! I will still have church in the evening.
Thursday I may run to the aquarium at Newport.
Friday I am going to Portland and hopefully the zoo with Jean. If the weather is awful we may go somewhere indoors instead or we may just take umbrellas.
Saturday I want to run to Wildlife Safari- they are opening the Australia exhibit on Friday.
Sunday will be church, parents and laundry again.
Somehow, 9 days away from work still doesn't seem like enough!
