Have I mentioned...
Oct. 15th, 2011 10:04 pmHow much I love my new Ipod touch (64G). I convinced work it would be a good thing for me to have, so they bought it for me...of course that means they own it but that's ok, I have the use of it as long as I work for the university and a few years down the road it will be considered obsolete anyway.
It's already saved my bacon a couple of times...when the computer crashed at work I was still able to check my email and calendar. I've answered WAY more work email from home than I usually would, simply because it's easy to do (one was to the dean at 10:30 on Thursday night). However, I really should stop doing that. ;>) It's handy to be able to take my calendar with me when I go to the millions of meetings I'm now required to attend.
I can also play angry birds and solitaire...probably more as I explore the apps.
And today it provided a nice collection of music to knit by while I waited for laundry at Mom and Dad's house. All in all, I'm impressed with how useful it is as a tool!
