Furlough day today....

Furlough days have cost me over $3000 in the last year. It sucks greatly. However, I am making good use of the mandatory time off.

Today I have cleaned out the closet. I've been slowly working on all the drawers and the closet was the last thing to go through. I still need to go through my sock drawers (yes multiple- it's past time) and the skirts that are in the back of the closet but I didn't really want to dive that far back this morning while I was still "Au Natural" from my shower. I have four tall kitchen garbage bags to go to the thrift store. I will give them to mom and dad so they can have the tax deduction- I don't itemize.

I expect to take care of the socks yet this morning. Then I am going to meet Carrie and Jenna to go to Build a Bear and maybe do some other shopping. Yeay for fun girly time!

Robert has a nasty cold which has taken him out of work all week. His Dr. couldn't diagnose anything but told him to sleep it off and not to go to work until Monday. Unfortunately, he seems to have passed it on to me. My throat is very sore this morning and my nose is running. Dayquil to the rescue and then onward with the day.
