No Cancer!
Jan. 17th, 2011 10:38 amI saw the dermatologist this morning. He was not at all worried about the moles that the PCP was so concerned about. He said that there was no cancer and he never expected there would be in those moles. He did, however, take off the most prominent one so that it would be less irritating. He sent it to pathology for the insurance sake. He also took off a large skin tag on my back that I keep catching with my fingernails.
To take off the mole on my nose, he had to do the whole drape and tape procedure. It was very bizarre to have my whole face draped and my eye taped shut but the procedure was totally innocuous other wise. I have one stitch but no concerns. It's a great outcome.
