The heat has been off for several days here at work and the radiant heaters take forever to warm the air. I'm wearing my angora sweater over a tank and with a cardigan and I'm still cold. Usually I roast at work.
I was actually looking forward to being warm at work since it was a steady 54 degrees in my house last night, even with the space heater on. I was chuckling at myself last night. I put the wool blanket on the bed as a middle layer, put on my wool socks, flannel pajamas, a sweater and wrapped a blanket around the top of my head. And it was still cold. My kitties cuddled down in and probably would have crawled under the covers too if given an option. It wasn't very fun. As long as it stays 28 degrees or less though that's the way it's going to be. The space heater uses a lot of electricity (if my bill is anything to go by) but the ceiling heat would probably use just as much and not heat my house anyway (what idiot didn't consider that heat rises when they build apartments on top of each other and put in ceiling heat?).
