Because it was late last night, I took some short cuts on the cake. The recipe said we should grind our own spices and I think she's probably right. The chai spices really don't come through. I also baked it in a loaf pan. It's fine but it crumbles too much when cut to be a terribly useful shape. Also, the chocolate chips didn't sink like expected and I think it's because it was a lot thicker than it would be in a spring form pan. Mostly it tastes like a chocolate zucchini bread. There is a little aftertaste of chai. I'll get some feedback at the meeting, although usually it's just "yum!"
