Almost done!....

Yet to do
Clean bathroom
Put away dishes
Put away laundry
Dust (It's half done)
Empty garbages
Set up new loveseat (Tuesday) Done by 8:03 this morning! Yeay Team!
Buy paper cups and drinks for Thursday I'll probably pick up some bottled water too.

So tonight, after I pet the new loveseat, I'm going to do dishes, dust and take out the garbage.

Thursday after work I'll do a quick vacuum and scoop the litter boxes. I think I'm almost ready!

Poor Puddin cat....

Poor Puddin has had a sore ear for about a week. I thought he'd just scratched it, and indeed he had, but last night I pinned him down to have a solid look. It turns out he had a plug of wax/scab/other detrius filling his entire ear canal. After some research I put a 1:1 mixture of vinegar and oil into his ear and rubbed. The plug was hard, so I tried tweazers. Of course, poor Puddin didn't like ANY of this treatment. I was able to move the plug but not dislodge it before I finally gave up and let him go. Then, miracle of miracles, he shook his head violently and dislodged the entire thing himself. It was really disgusting- black, about the size of a dime and it had vestiges of puss on the inside side. Poor baby- that had to really hurt. He's really not going to like it but I'm going to try to do that same treatment once a day. The vinegar will dissuade bacterial and fungal growth and the oil will kill any ear mites and keep the skin well lubricated. I might add a little tea tree oil just to be on the safe side. He's always had really dirty ears- he must produce a lot of wax. I really don't think it's mites or the other cats would have them too. Hopefully this will solve the problem. He already looked and sounded much better today. I didn't hear him shaking his head and scratching his ear all night long.

Major stuff is done

I need to take out the trash tomorrow but other than the last little things that have to be done on Thursday I'm completely done. Yeay!
