Dec. 18th, 2009

Carrie and I went shopping last night and got Robert's Christmas presents. We had a lot of fun and giggled a whole lot. It was a successful trip for both of us although there were moments we wondered if we were going to find what we wanted to find.

That means that the only thing I have left is my dad's socks. YEAY! Of course I'll probably think about presents for Jay, Candy, and Lukas slightly after the holiday (like after the next paycheck).

I still need to wrap the presents I bought last night and clean up the mess that was made making my brother's birthday gift. I have rice everywhere in my living room. *laughing* Rice, pine needles and fake snow.... it must be Christmas time.

I don't care if you post answers here I just thought it might be fun to review the "facts" that we see in the nativity and hear in our carols. Even if you aren't Christian, you are innundated with this stuff during the Christmas season. I mean this all in good fun. I actually celebrate Christmas as a family holiday not as a religious one. I'll post answers tomorrow sometime.

Was Jesus born on Dec 25th?

What brought the shephards to Jesus?

Where was Jesus born (City and location in the city)?

Why were Joseph and Mary in that city during his birth?

Who was king when Jesus was born?

How old was Jesus when the shepherds came?

How old was Jesus when the wise men came?

Did the wise men go directly to Jesus?

What brought the wise men to Jesus?

How many shepherds were there?

How many wise men were there?

What gifts were brought to Jesus?

What happened after the wise men left?

Why was Jesus not affected by this happening?

What does the Christmas tree have to do with Jesus' birth?

Please have fun!
