hlmauera: (Snarling Cat)
So apparently the university president decided that specific information on students was being used unwisely by a few individuals so he cut access for THE ENTIRE UNIVERSITY! This information is information we use for accreditation. This information is referenced in our database. The lack of information caused the database to go *KERBLOOOIE!* I've been trying to argue with the administrative computing office that we need this data. They denied our request this afternoon. Now we don't have the data and the database won't work without serious revisions by the programmer. Can I send the bill for the reprogramming to the president? Can I blame him if we fail our accreditation as a result?

I'm spitting mad!

So for the people who are offering advice (Thank you!) this is essentially what I'm making. Look at the red velvet vest. The top will be similar as well. It isn't this exact pattern but close enough.

I am lengthening it hit me at a more flattering line.

The pattern has a side front and a side back and that's where I'm getting the sagging, I think because there is so much bias because of the curves. I'm afraid quilting it will be really obvious and take away from the stripes. Do you think it would look really strange to take the stripes off everything but the front? That means the overlay would end where the side curve is for the bust.
