I was talking to demon_pet about the strange friendships that form through e-connections. We see each other at events but we've never gotten together or spent much time in conversation that isn't on a cyber connection. Yet, we feel like we know each other fairly well through reading each others journals. It's a very odd society we could be forming. But we've resolved the issue ourselves, we will get together to make chocolate at the very least!

Dress progress:
Sleeves are done and attached.
I tried on the bodice with the chemise last night. It looks a little odd, I think because it doesn't have the weight of the skirt. I also discovered that I can't fluff myself adequately to look right in the dress. Someone else will have to help puff my sleeves appropriately; I look kind of sloppy when I do it myself. So now all I have to do is cartridge pleat the skirt onto the bodice and hem it. That's lots of skirt- 3 panels of 61 inches, less seam allowance. I see lots of sewing this evening.

I want sleep

I would like very much to go home and sleep today. But I have to keep working on my Venetian or it won't get done. *sigh* I didn't get anything done on my lunch break because I had to go to a meeting. *double sigh*

Here it is! I actually still have to put a tiny hem in the skirt.
