Back to work today- have to rest up from the weekend. That's why we work, right?

Yesterday K and I went and did her shopping. I went back and bought the shoes. I'm wearing them today to see how they feel after being on my feet all day. I'm not overly impressed yet, but they are suede and might stretch yet. I also bought a slipcover for my love seat. I've been throwing a sheet over it because it's so rough. That looks really sloppy though. The cover is marginally better. It was rather entertaining and more difficult than I expected to put it on the love seat. Tuck tuck, pull, tug, fluff, start over, Pull pull, tuck tuck tuck, tug, smooth.... It isn't very smooth, I guess my love seat isn't as big and fluffy as theirs. But the kitties like it and it feels much better when I sit on it. Not to mention, it looks better too.

I bought my train ticket for September (CG's wedding). I'll leave on the 7th at 5:45am (arriving 12:15 pm)and return on the 10th at 5:25pm (arriving 11:40 pm). Who knows what gas prices will be then. My ticket cost more than it would currently cost me to drive but I don't have the headache of driving, I can work on my projects on the way and the way gas is going, it may be even more expensive before then.

The major frustration of my weekend was not being able to find kitty litter at either of the two Walmarts. Stupid store. Now I'll have to make yet another trip into town this week.

Man! All of the sudden I'm so sleepy I can hardly keep my eyes open. I have 30 minutes until lunch. Yikes!
