Mom update

Mom's surgery went really well yesterday.  It was pushed back by about 2 hours so we did a lot of waiting but the doctor said it went better than she had expect.  They are supposed to release her late this afternoon.  When I called this morning she was up and trying to comb her hair.  She told the nurse her pain was at about a 3 but then she got up and it was a little higher than that.  So it may be self limiting for a while, which is good.  I don't know how else we would keep her down.
I'm going to leave a little early from work so I can be available to help her get home and to get supper started.
